So, the story goes 20 years back when my hubby dear bought this saree for me from his very first salary. This saree holds a lot of value for me. I was talking about writing this post and with all the potpourri going on, my Mister suggested the very title.
Then, I wore it with the same material full sleeves blouse. Now, I wore it again with a silver net palazzo pants, and grey knitted crop top, accessorized with a flower brooch, my fav beaded belt, pearl earrings, and crystal bangles. Keeping the look simple, as for me less is more.
This was the look I created for a special occasion, as grey was the theme. Apparently I didn’t have anything exciting to wear, so decided to put together what I had, and came up with something I desired. Didn’t get a chance to take few good pics for my post at that time, so, re-enacted the whole look once again for the pics sake. Trying to deliver my best 🙂
I am as a matter of fact a low-moderate shopper, and as I said in my earlier posts that I love to mix and match. Also, when I go out for shopping I look for timeless pieces or heirloom quality stuff. I am a slow fashion follower, but still like updated looks, especially if they can be created with in the wardrobe I have. This is my way to contribute towards sustainable fashion. Also, the palazzos were made out of a saree and the crop top I wore goes 15 yrs back.
One thing I realized is keep the classic pieces, you never know when they touch an outfit to turn it new!
I would love to hear from you all my friends about your Fusion Fiesta story! Please share.
