Loved cruising in Caribbean for 7day/night with Carnival Mardi Gras. Focused on fun and relaxation this cruise covered three ports- Cozumel, Costa Maya and Roatan.
* Follow covid guidelines while traveling.
Ship leaves from Port Canaveral ,Orlando. 2 day cruising in the beginning and at the end. In between 3 days we stopped at the 3 ports.

Cozumel, Mexico:
Port was beautiful. Beach was 20 minutes ride from the port. Booked the tour before hand. We did snorkeling, fish spa, ate yum seafood at the beach. The beach area was pretty much tourist friendly and well equipped. While going out for snorkeling be careful of fire corals, it stings bad (trust me I had it :))
Costa Maya, Mexico:
Famous from its Mayan ruins to the coastal beauty and massages. Got the relaxing massage and went to the downtown area. We got to eat the scrumptious seafood right from the sea sitting next to the sea. Below is the pic of fresh grouper that was cooked into a delicious platter. Small shops for some local shopping- hats, bags etc. and the sea right next to you if you plan on getting in.
Isla Roatan, Honduras:
Lush green island more like a small town. Famous for mahogany wood. Booked a sightseeing tour so did some sightseeing, shopping, chocolate factory tour and stopped at a nice beach. Loved this island! Awesome food too! We saw Shakira’s house also or well that is what we were told.
Sharing below a glimpse from the ship. Serenity Spa at Deck 17 was my hangout while on the ship.
What to pack?
Swim suits- 2, dresses for the evening- 6, Shorts and tees are best for the day time so 3-4 shorts and tees/ tops/ tanks. Couple of sundresses. Have warm sweater or jacket for the ship as it gets chilled inside the ship. And of course sleepwear and personal items. Make use of the laundry service as and when needed.
