Arizona Calling!

Visited beautiful Arizona in mid-November. A vast land of huge cacti . You can see miles ahead of you, as there is nothing to clutter your vision. And then, there are colorful rock formations, evergreens, a trail of fall colors with in few miles. Road trip when in Arizona is must, to see all these transitions and variations. I went to Arizona for Antelope Canyon but found everything else equally enticing and peaceful.

Antelope Canyon

Two things to keep in mind is to book the tour before hand as a Navajo guide can only take you there and you have to go underground using steep stairs (almost ladder) and then climb couple of times the same kind of stairs.

Here are the few pics of Antelope Canyon. Decide for yourself!

Horseshoe Bend

A very scenic place famous for the horse shoe shape the Colorado River makes. It was a breathtaking view. The place is lit during sunset!

Sedona

The city is full of Juniper trees and colorful structures and famous for vortex points, a very peaceful place. Below are the pictures from my camera. The purity of this place is heart touching.

And the food we ate!

Highly recommend these restaurants-

*Moscato Ristorante Italiano, Camp Verde

*Maple & Ash, Scottsdale

*India Palace- Cuisine of India, Sedona

Conclusion

A great trip full of eyes wide open, flavorful food, some warm moments and lots of travel for 4 days.

Also, check weather before planning the trip to pack appropriately. A jacket or two is fine during the fall time, and in addition to that I packed sneakers, activewear and some social clothings.
